Off Topic - Captain America: The First Avenger

I took my little sister to watch Captain America yesterday, and can I just say... I was not disappointed. I'm not going to lie... Big fan of Chris Evans. Have been for a while now. Chris is overly charming, down to earth and immensely handsome.

(I did go mainly because of the actors staring the in the film, and partly because I'm a big Superhero Nerd.)

I was not disappointed in the least!

The cast were fantastic, and I couldn't fault any of them, they'd been cast perfectly from Chris Evans as our hero, to some of the big Hollywood names such as Tommy Lee Jones and Hugo Weaving.

Neal McDonough was in this too, which I was more then happy about, he's always a pleasure to watch when he's acting. (Big fan of his since he was in Band of Brothers!)

The actual characters themselves developed throughout the film and you couldn't help but like them and feel for them in moments of trouble.

The overall set locations used were well thought out, and the music used was well placed, and I can't not mention The Star Spangled Singers, who were a lot of fun. :)

There weren't many boring parts, so you shouldn't be glancing at your watch unless these kind of films aren't your thing. It's definitely an action-packed film, and I hope they make a few more, although I'm not sure where they can take it with The Avengers coming up next year!

All in all, there's something for everyone and it's definitely worth seeing in my books.

For kids: It's interesting and fun to watch. My sister thoroughly enjoyed it and she's only 11. It wasn't scary, and it wasn't silly, either. Perfect for kids of a certain age that are just finding themselves, and don't want to watch kiddie movies anymore.

For men: Plenty of pretty girls, it's Captain America, it has guns, tanks and explosions!

For girls (Who aren't into Comics and Superheroes!): Chris Evans is lovely to watch and Howard Stark is a surprise hottie! (Played by Dominic Cooper.)

Oh, quick tip, stay until AFTER the credits, a trailer for The Avengers is shown which isn't yet, I think, being shown anywhere else at the moment. Definitely worth staying for because it looks like it'll be one of the BIG Superhero films of next year. :)
