Deborah Milano Natural Effect Blush Mahogany Review

Hi girls,

I have reviewed some beautiful matte shade blushes from this range (Spicy, Biscuit, Fuxia, Cherry, Chocolate). This range has shades ranging from popping pinks to reds and n*de mauves. My favourite blush color has to be mauve, something like this one, Mahogany, which is a pink with a matte natural look! This one stole my heart because it’s the exact color of my skin when I exercise, you can say the natural blush color. “Mahogany” can be worn anytime without looking over the top. Being matte, it easily becomes my recent favourite.

My Experience with Deborah Milano Natural Effect Blush Mahogany:

This comes in a stiff plastic case with a lid that I find hard to open. The brush is harsh and useless, I mean who applied blush with such a tiny brush anyway? The color needs all the attention. The color is lovely light pink mauve and goes on matte. If you have a cool skin tone, this color is just right for you for a natural blush look.

The texture is good, it is not overly smooth or powdery. It is not chalky either. The feel is just right, where you get the correct amount of color to the brush. It is not too soft where you pick up too much color. The blush looks very natural on my cooler fair to medium skin tone. I like to pair this with a matte pink lipstick and it looks great for day wear.

I am happy with the pigmentation as well. I don’t need any thing more from the blush in terms of color, pigmentation, and staying power. It easily lasts on my oily skin for 4 hours. This rather leaves a light stain when you apply it, if it was too powdery it would have melted away. But working like a soft stain, it works longer for me. I recommend this shade for natural day wear color for fair to medium cool to neutral skin tones.
