How fun is this mask that is all foil! To be honest, when I saw this mask I thought that the foil layer was really just a gimmick to get people to wear it; but, it's interesting - it actually serves a purpose and it's meant to be a topper that helps the essence absorb in to the skin!
This mask is straight-forward to use: wash face, apply toner, gently remove mask - unfold and apply layers one at a time, wear for 10-20 minutes, remove face mask and pat remaining essence in to the skin!
Yeeeessss.... I love when I have a picture of a mask in my head, and it ends up looking exactly how I expect it to look! (I have had some pretty great mask fails in my time...). My first thought is how impressed I am with the fit of this mask - it comes in 2 pieces and has tons of tabs on the sides (even around the nose and eyes) to get a really close fit! It was a little thick; but, it didn't bother me because it was so
Initially it felt a touch tingly and warm on my skin - I was a little worried; but, it didn't last very long. I think it was just an initial feeling from having the foil layer over top of the mask. This essence absorbed really well in to my skin and lasted about 25 minutes on my face. I was really pleased with how my skin felt and looked - it was smooth, soft and hydrated! I will definitely try the other masks in the MASK.LAB line!
