Justin Bieber pays fine to close four-year-old Brazil graffiti case
A Brazilian judge has dropped the case against Justin Bieber for spraying graffiti in 2013 after the singer paid a fine.
The 'Sorry' singer donated six thousand dollars (€5,265) to a Rio de Janeiro children's hospital to close the case against him.
During a stay in the city four years ago, the then 19-year-old tagged the wall of an abandoned hotel. At the time, Brazil's largest news outlet, O Globo, had published photos of the singer with spray paint in hand.

A statement from Brazil's civil police published at that time said Bieber had been charged with "defacing a building or urban monument by graffiti or other means." He faced either a fine or a year of jail time.
The singer has recently popped up in Ireland playing basketball in Dublin's Bushy Park, ahead of his June gig at the RDS. He just wrapped up a European tour and is playing US dates this summer.
